Since yesterday morning 5-6” fell in the Bridger Range and Cooke City, 3” around Big Sky and 1” everywhere else. Winds have decreased and are blowing out of the west at 10-20 mph with gusts of 35. Under cloudy skies mountain temperatures are in the mid-teens. Occasional showers today and tonight will drop 2-4” by tomorrow morning with winds remaining the same and temperatures climbing into the low 20s.

Since yesterday morning, 10-12” of dense new snow fell in the mountains near Cooke City and the northern Bridger Range. Near Bridger Bowl and Hyalite got 1-2” of new snow, and near Big Sky and West Yellowstone got 2-4”. Temperatures are currently high teens to 20s F. Wind overnight was westerly at 20-30 mph with gusts of 50-60 mph. Today, temperatures will be in the 20s F with westerly wind at 20-30 mph. Snow showers will continue through tonight with 4-6” in the mountains by tomorrow morning.

Since yesterday morning the mountains near Cooke City got 9” of new snow, and 1-2” fell elsewhere. Temperatures this morning are teens to high 20s F. Wind overnight was west-northwest at 25-30 mph with gusts over 60 mph. Today, temperatures will be high 20s to low 30s F with west-northwest wind at 25-40 mph. Light snow showers are expected throughout the day with heavier snowfall tonight. By tomorrow morning the mountains will get 4-6” of new snow with more than 12” likely near Cooke City.

Over the past 24 hours the mountains around Cooke City received over a foot of new snow while all other areas picked up 2-4”. Currently, temps range from the teens to mid-20’s F and westerly winds are blowing 15-35 mph with gusts around Big Sky and Hyalite breaking 40 mph. Today, snow will continue around Cooke City with an additional 3-5” likely by this evening and another 3-5” overnight. Snow will develop over the rest of the advisory area by this afternoon. The mountains around Bozeman and Big Sky will see 2-4” by tomorrow morning while the West Yellowstone area will pick up 1-3”. Highs today will warm into the upper 20’s to low 30’s and winds will remain moderate to strong out of the W-NW.

Overnight the mountains around Cooke City received 3” of new snow while all other areas picked up 1-2”. At 5 a.m. temps range from the teens to low 20’s F and winds are blowing 15-30 mph out of the W-SW. Today, light snow showers will impact the mountains with 1-3” possible by this evening. Snow intensifies tonight and the mountains will pick up an additional 2-4” by tomorrow morning. Highs today will warm into 20’s F and winds will continue to blow 15-30 mph out of the west.

Over the past 24 hours the mountains south of Bozeman picked up 1-2” of new snow. At 5 a.m. skies are partly cloudy and temps range from the single digits to low teens F. Winds are blowing 15-25 mph out of the W-NW with gusts around Big Sky reaching 40 mph. Today, Temps will warm into the upper teens to low 20’s F and winds will blow 15-30 mph out of the W-NW. Skies will become mostly cloudy by this afternoon as the next storm system approaches. Light snow develops tonight and the mountains will see 1-3” by tomorrow morning.

Yesterday’s snow squall dropped 5” around Bozeman and Cooke City, and 2” everywhere else. As the snow fell it blew 50-70 mph from the west to southwest at all elevations. This morning winds are averaging 20-25 mph and gusting to 45 mph from the west with mountain temperatures in the single digits. Today will remain cold and breezy with 1-2” inches of snow falling in the mountains and 4” falling outside Cooke City.

Last night an inch of snow fell in the mountains near Cooke City and West Yellowstone. Under cloudy skies winds are out of the southwest at 40 mph with gusts near 70 mph at the ridgelines. Mountain temperatures are in the 20s and this morning a strong frontal passage brings snow in the mountains and possibly rain in the valleys. By this evening 1-2” will blanket the mountains with Cooke City getting 4”.

Since yesterday the mountains near Cooke City got 3” of snow, near West Yellowstone got 1-2”, and elsewhere got a trace to an inch. Temperatures this morning are mid-20s F and will reach low 30s F today. Wind is westerly at 15-25 mph with gusts of 30-50 mph. No new snow is expected through tonight, then another round of snow begins tomorrow morning.

At 4 a.m. the mountains near Cooke City have 8” of new snow, near West Yellowstone has 3-4”, Big Sky and Hyalite have 1-2”, and the Bridger Range has none. Temperatures are teens to low 20s F and wind is west-southwest at 25-30 mph with gusts over 50 mph. Today is partly cloudy with continued light snowfall in the southern mountains, temperatures in the 20s F, and west-northwest wind at 25-35 mph. By tomorrow the mountains will get 3-5” near Cooke City and West Yellowstone and 1” elsewhere.
